Diane Geiger
Co-founder
Diane Geiger began her bar research at an age when most kids were content to drink Kool-Aid and ride around on their Big Wheels. After picking her up from pre-school, her father would often tote her along to his favorite bar, Shakespeare’s, for his after-work cocktail, where she would steal his gin-soaked olives.
Growing up, Geiger dreamed of the day when she would be of age and able to sip a martini of her very own. And she envisioned a more mobile, flexible world. A world where cocktails would not be limited to the after-work domain. A world where drinking and working could co-exist and live happily ever after.
Joe Posch
Co-founder
Having grown up in Grosse Pointe, Joe Posch believes that anyplace is better than the office for working. As proprietor of modern design mecca Mezzanine, he has spent more than a few happy hours seeking higher standards for the alternative workplace.
Posch believes your surroundings affect your work, so he won’t put up with a dive bar or half-assed hotel bar for his working environment. Blogging goes better with inspiring surroundings.
He is also the master of the mocktail. You don’t have to be drinking alcohol to look like you are Drinking While Working!
